The World Cancer Research Fund UK are holding a free event for health professionals to raise awareness of the link between diet, physical activity, body weight and cancer risk. The conference includes speakers from the charity as well as other experts in the field.

With worldwide cancer cases expected to increase by 70 per cent in the next
20 years, and an annual cost to the NHS of £5 billion, it has never been more
important to put cancer prevention at the top of the health agenda.
Health professionals are being called on to ‘make every contact count’ –
to put wellbeing at the heart of every patient interaction – regardless of their
area of expertise.

That is why World Cancer Research Fund would like to
invite you to learn more about how people can lower their cancer
risk and how, together, we can start them on a journey to better health.
We all have a part to play if we want to see a future free from cancer

  • Know how to start someone on their journey to better health
  • Build your local network – who can offer support?
