Healthwatch Bristol Open Advis

You are invited to the Healthwatch Bristol Open Advisory Group: ‘Carers, the Care Act and the Children and Families Act’ event.

The event will include:

• presentations from Healthwatch Bristol and Bristol Carers Support Centre
• question time for Bristol City Council leads for carers answering your questions on gaining carers assessments and the changes to the Acts
• opportunity to share your experiences and views about health and social care services

Healthwatch Bristol will provide an update on:

• what people in Bristol have told Healthwatch about the health and social care services they use
• carer’s views on how services such as GPs, hospitals, social care services and voluntary and community sector services work for them and those they care for
• plans for quarter four Access and Equalities and 2016

Who should attend?

The event is open to everyone whether you are a member of the public, service user/patient of health and social care services, commissioner of health and social care services, or employee or volunteer with a health and social care service or voluntary and community sector organisation.
