The NHS Sustainability Day roadshows are a series of national events aimed at looking at ways we can make the NHS more sustainable and which culminates in NHS Sustainability Day on 24 March 2016.
This roadshow for the South West takes place in Exeter, and features Sam Willits, Energy and Sustainability Manager at University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The campaign of regional roadshows is endorsed at a senior level in the NHS and by the Prime Minister, and gives health-workers across the country the chance to participate in networking, learning about best practice and innovative ideas. There is also a national awards scheme which recognises and publicises the achievements made.
