Pint of Science offers you the opportunity to listen to Bristol’s researchers talking about their work – over a pint in a pub. It aims to deliver interesting and relevant talks on the latest science research in an accessible format to the public, providing a platform which allows people to discuss research with the people who carry it out.
This year’s festival sees talks on a wide range of subjects in six pubs, including the Greenbank in Easton, Halo on Gloucester Road and the Tobacco Factory in Bedminster. Talks include:
- Trust me, I’m a heart surgeon
- A tale of two Nans
- Baby steps to diabetes
- I can’t remember (given by the Dementia Health Integration Team Director Dr Liz Coulthard)
