Professor Roy Jones will be giving a public lecture titled ‘Improving diagnosis and treatment of dementia: Can novel brain imaging help?’ Professor Jones is the Director of the Research Institute for the Care of Older People (RICE) in Bath, an honorary Professor at the University of Bristol, and an honorary Professor at the University of Bath. He is a physician and geriatrician by background and has been involved with the diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease and related conditions since he began the RICE Memory Clinic in 1987.

This is a free event for individuals with an interest in dementia or brain imaging.

The Peel lecture theatre is close to local amenities where refreshments can be purchased. There will be no refreshments provided at the lecture.

The closest car park is Trenchard Street which is a pay on exit multi-storey.

If you book a ticket but are no longer able to come nearer to the event, please cancel your ticket so it can be offered to someone else. The Dementia Health Integration Team are hosting this public lecture.
