The new Centre for Health, Law and Society (CHLS) at the University of Bristol promotes interdisciplinary and cross-sector perspectives on the impacts of law and governance on physical, mental, and social wellbeing.
Its launch event, which includes a symposium and a key note lecture by Professor Margaret Brazier, followed by a reception, celebrates the work of scholars within the Centre, emphasising the links between health law scholarship and policy and practice.
The launch will be followed by a drinks reception at 6pm.
