A lively debate with speakers from the University of Bristol, Bristol Walking Alliance, Bristol Disability Rights Forum and SHINE (Supporting Healthy Inclusive Neighbourhood Environments). They will examine the difficulties arising from parking on pavements and how community engagement and city policy could tackle the accessibility issues and health implications of pavement parking in Bristol.

This event will be of interest to members of the public, people from community organisations, policy makers and practitioners with an interest in healthy, inclusive urban environments.

Please come and join in the conversation.

The event is FREE and light refreshments will be served.

The space is on one level, with street level access and has disabled toilet facilities. It does not have a hearing induction loop but microphones are provided for all events, should they be required.

Thanks to Triodos Bank who are supporting this event.

This event is part of Healthy City Week 2017 (7 – 14 October) – an annual programme of activities exploring wellbeing that doesn’t cost the earth. Healthy City Week is formed by its contributors, delivered by Bristol Green Capital Partnership and supported by Bristol Health Partners.
