The Bristol Bones and Joints Health Integration Team (HIT) are looking for patients who have a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis or osteoporosis, or who have had surgery for osteoarthritis.

The Bristol Bones and Joints Health Integration Team (HIT) are looking for patients who have a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis or osteoporosis, or who have had surgery for osteoarthritis to get involved in the HIT and give their views on its work.

This patient meeting will include a research update and sessions with researchers to discuss priorities for local research in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, surgery for osteoarthritis. Clinicians will also lead sessions about local services to encourage self-management.

The meeting will also look at the following questions:

  1. What is an activated patient and how can it help you and the NHS if you are one?
  2. How can we make it easier for you to self-manage?

Transport costs of up to £10 will be reimbursed, and lunch and refreshments will be available on the day.
