Join the Eating Disorders Health Integration
Team
(EDHIT) at their patient and public involvement evening, to use your
experiences to create a better future for anyone affected by eating
disorders. Be part of:

  • improving eating disorder services
  • raising awareness of eating disorders
  • creating a better future for everyone affected by eating disorders.

At the EDHIT Patient and Public Involvement evening we will be:

  • providing an update on the progress on the research project around how primary care can be improved for children and young people with eating disorders
  • asking for you to tell us how it feels to move between support services and to leave them
  • sharing news of up and coming events in 2018

Who should attend:

  • anyone who has had or has an eating disorder
  • anyone who has supported a family member, friend or colleague with an eating disorder
  • anyone working for a non-statutory organisation which offers support to people with eating disorders, their family and/or friends

Soft drinks will be provided, but food will not be provided. We recognise that for some people this meeting falls over a meal time so you are very welcome to bring your own food to eat during the meeting and/or pop out at anytime, if you would like to.

Please note that this is a patient and public involvement meeting not a support group.

This relaxed evening is open to
anyone with experience of having an eating
disorder or caring for someone with an eating disorder. Your experiences are vital to the development of the work EDHIT does
– please join us to help shape our workplan and influence current projects in
Bristol and surrounding counties aiming to improve eating disorder services.
