Bristol Health Partners has teamed up with the Bristol Post for the first ever Bristol Health and Care Awards.
These awards are a unique opportunity to celebrate the success and hard work of the health and care community in Bristol. From the GPs, pharmacists, nurses and hospital teams on the front line, to volunteers and community organisations supporting people day to day, to the researchers and scientists whose work leads to real improvements in health and care, these awards aim to include everyone who makes a difference to the health of people in Bristol.
Nominations are now open in 15 categories:
Visit the Bristol Health and Care Awards website to enter or nominate. Entries close on 29 January at 5pm.
Nominations are open to anyone, whether you're a member of the public or work in health and care in Bristol. The winners will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony on 10 March in central Bristol.
Bristol Health Partners Director David Relph said:
“I’m delighted that Bristol Health Partners can support and be so involved in these awards. There are so many dedicated people and organisations working in health and care in Bristol, striving to improve the lives of the people living in this city. It’s wonderful that these awards can recognise some of that work at a city level. Working with the Post, I think we’ve come up with a great list of categories with something for everyone. We hope to encourage entries from across the spectrum of health and care in this city, from the NHS to community groups, and public health to local companies. And of course the people of Bristol can nominate too. I am looking forward to reading the entries, and celebrating the successes and hard work of the local health and care community.”
