Evaluation of cancer survivors

Penny Brohn Cancer Care’s Dr Helen Seers is presenting an Avon Primary Care Research Collaborative seminar on evaluating cancer survivorship services.

Helen has a background in evidence-based medicine and health psychology and has been working for Penny Brohn Cancer Care since 2004. Her current role includes leading an on-going research and evaluation programme of work at Penny Brohn Cancer Care and the development of academic publications to support this. Helen will be presenting her findings from a recent evaluation of cancer services at Penny Brohn Cancer Care. The impact of this evaluation work, and current cutting-edge evaluation tools will be described. This seminar will provide you with an opportunity to reflect on the challenges of service evaluation and describe the successes and problems with this work.
