The Elizabeth Blackwell Institute for Health Research at the University of Bristol has launched its second ‘Research for Health’ funding scheme.

They are inviting doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to tell them about specific issues that they face whilst treating patients on a day-to-day basis. Whether the problem affects large numbers of patients or has a high impact on a smaller number, they are keen to hear from you.

The Institute has been awarded Wellcome Trust funding to facilitate collaborative working and ensure their research is steered and informed by practice. This funding will enable them to work in partnership with clinicians and other health professionals to develop solutions to current problems.

If you would like to register your interest in the scheme please email [email protected] or call Lisa on 07875 077715 to find out more. For detailed guidance including an explanatory video and an application form visit the Elizabeth Blackwell Institute website.

The deadline for submissions is 9am Friday 22 May 2015.
