Foreword from Chair Andrea Young
In this year’s annual review, Bristol Health Partners Chair Andrea Young’s foreword recognises how the strength of our unique partnership has resulted in the prestigious designation of Academic Health Science Centre.
She also describes how our collaborations have helped tackle local and national health and care challenges and some key Health Integration Team (HIT) highlights including the creation of two new HITs.

Highlights include the critical role our Health Integration Teams (HITs) have played in the creation or redesign of care pathways and our focused efforts on supporting healthier lifestyles and illness prevention.
She also talks about the growth of the Bristol Health Partners core team and the how our using data better programme has developed a unique training programme for patient and public contributors.
