Eating Disorders Health Integration Team (EDHIT) research conference

The Eating Disorders Health Integration Team (EDHIT) research event will bring together academics, clinicians, commissioners, NHS research and development staff and people who live with, care for or friends with those that have an eating disorder.

This half day event will include presentations, with time for refreshments and networking.

Presentations include:

  • The role of anxiety in anorexia nervosa: is it causal? Caitlin Lloyd, University of Bristol
  • Sense of self and well-being in people living with, and beyond, anorexia nervosa. Samantha Hughes, University of Gloucester
  • Short term psychological recovery and weight restoration following adolescent inpatient treatment - clinical and theoretical implications. Ian Frampton, University of Exeter
  • Embedding eating disorders research in clinical protocol: an example from Spain. Sarah Sauchelli, University of Bristol
