Videos exploring antibiotic use for RTIs in children in primary care launched at TARGET event

Resources to help GPs and parents manage coughs and respiratory tract infections (RTIs) have been launched by the University of Bristol's Centre for Academic Primary Care (CAPC) at a special antimicrobial stewardship event on 26 February in London.
The event was the culmination of CAPC's TARGET programme which aims to improve the quality of care given to children presenting to primary care with RTIs. More than 70 delegates attended the event, which saw the launch of:
- an animation about
what parents want from a GP consultation
- posters and leaflets for parents
- a parent-focussed website
- posters summarising their research
- their research publications
- press releases
