RuBICoN HIT's Alastair Hay on R4's Inside Health

University of Bristol's Professor of Primary Care and Respiratory Infections HIT Director Alastair Hay appeared on Radio 4's Inside Health on 19 February talking about coughs and antibiotic prescribing.

Alastair explains to presenter Dr Mark Porter that coughs are the most common presenting complaint both within the NHS and health services internationally. Although antibiotics are often prescribed, 80 per cent of patients won't benefit from antibiotics.
