Accessible Information Standard review: have your say

8 February 2017

The Accessible Information Standard sets out requirements for NHS and adult social care providers to identify, record, flag, share and meet the information and communication needs of people with a disability, impairment or sensory loss.

NHS England is reviewing the standard to assess impact and ensure it is ‘fit for purpose’. Please give you views via the appropriate survey:

  • Survey for health and care professionals and organisations (or complete the professionals survey Word doc)
  • Survey for patients, service users, carers and parents (also available as a Word document, in audio, braille, British Sign Language video, and easy read)
  • Survey for support, supplier and representative organisations (or complete the support, supplier and rep Word doc)

Please take the time to share your experiences and views before 10 March 2017.

Please send queries and requests for alternative formats to england.nhs.participation@nhs.net or patients / members of the public can call 0300 311 22 33.
