Bristol City Council, University of Bristol and City Office work together towards One City Approach

17 March 2020

A new agreement between the Council, the University of Bristol and the City Office will see these organisations work more closely to achieve the aims set out under the Bristol One City Approach.

The One City Approach was first published by Mayor Marvin Rees in January 2019 and aims to bring together a range of public, private, voluntary and third sector partners to make Bristol a fair, healthy and sustainable city.

This latest commitment will see all parties provide opportunities for each other to benefit from greater collaboration. Opportunities will include sharing knowledge to achieve shared goals, identifying areas where academic expertise can inform policy and practice, providing placements for students and staff to transfer between organisations and the development of the city's international reputation.
