ED HIT looking for young people to shape research into eating disorders

11 February 2022

Our Eating Disorders Health Integration Team (ED HIT) is setting up a Special Interest Research Group of young people who have experience of an eating disorder and who are interested in talking about what future research on eating disorders should look like.

The group will make a difference by highlighting the views and experiences of young people, to help shape our priorities for research, and for projects around preventing eating disorders, identifying them early, and providing support.

We are keen to hear from any young people interested in taking part in online or in-person discussion groups. We are particularly keen to hear from young people from ethnic minority backgrounds, LGBTQ+ young people, young people with disabilities and young men, who are often under-represented in such conversations.

If you are interested in getting involved please email us at helloedhit@gmail.com
