Applied Research Collaboration West

The applied data science team uses data to uncover the patterns, causes and effects of health and disease conditions, and how these link to health services. They focus on using the best techniques to increase the reliability of their findings.


Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) Modelling and Analytics Team

The modelling and analytics team at BNSSG CCG inform local commissioning decisions with their work. You can view their newsletter through their Twitter account.


Connecting Care

Connecting Care is a digital care record system for sharing information in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. It allows instant and secure access to health and social care records for the professionals involved in an individual's care.


Elizabeth Blackwell Institute (University of Bristol) - Health Data Science Strand

This strand of the Elizabeth Blackwell Institute focuses on building Bristol capacity to carry out interdisciplinary research that makes the best use of existing and routinely collected data to improve health, care and services.


Healthier Together

Healthier Together is our BNSSG Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP). Healthier Together has both digital and population health management programmes.


NIHR Bristol Biomedical Research Centre

The biostatistics, evidence synthesis and informatics theme enables researchers across the Bristol Biomedical Research Centre to use cutting-edge apporaches to organise and analyse large sets of data and sources of evidence.


OneHealth Tech

This is a volunteer-led grassroots community that supports and promotes under-represented groups to be future leaders in health innovation.


University of West of England (UWE) Artificial Intelligence Group

This is a group of academics with expertise in adaptive systems, neural networks, data mining, fuzzy logic, image understanding and more.


West of England Academic Health Science Network

The West of England Academic Health Science Network brings together all the key players innovating health and care in our region.

Health Data Research UK

Health Data Research UK is uniting the UK's health data to enable discoveries that improve people's lives. It is the national institute for health data science.


NHSX

NHSX brings teams from the Department of Health and Social Care, NHS England and NHS Improvement together into one unit to drive digital transformation and lead policy, implementation and change.


Shuri Network

The Shuri Network is the first NHS network of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) women in health tech and digital health. It is a joint project with NHS England, NHS Digital and Health Education England (HEE) as part of the Building a Digitally-Ready Workforce (BDRW) programme.


NHS Digital

NHS Digital is the national information and technology partner to the health and care system.


NHS Digital, Data and Technology Graduate Scheme

The NHS Graduate Digital, Data and Technology Scheme is the first grad scheme created to source and develop the best informatics graduates coming out of universities, to support the NHS and wider social care system.
