Calling all thinkers, makers and innovators. Bristol needs you! Share your ideas and win £100 cash!

Join Connecting Bristol in their quest to build creative and sustainable solutions to local challenges using open data. This time they’re hacking transport and health.

How can we encourage wellbeing through healthy travel and transport in Bristol? Think outside the box, this isn’t limited to physical exercise and could encompass air quality, mental health and the built environment too.

Enjoy a free lunch and drinks while you bring your ideas to life. The winning team will walk away with £100 cash on the day and a chance to win the annual Open Data Challenge grand prize!

UrbanThings, creators of the Bristol API, will be on hand with advice and tips to get you up and running. So whether you’re an expert dev or new to the game, everyone is welcome.

You’ll need to bring your own laptop for this event. If you don’t have one, let the organisers know in advance and they should be able to provide one.

This event is part of Healthy City Week 2017 (7 – 14 October) – an annual programme of activities exploring wellbeing that doesn’t cost the earth. Healthy City Week is formed by its contributors, delivered by Bristol Green Capital Partnership and supported by Bristol Health Partners.
