Adversity and Trauma HIT

The Adversity and Trauma Health Integration Team (HIT) was previously called the Adverse Childhood Experiences HIT. Its name has been changed to better reflect the remit of its work, considering the impacts of adversity and trauma across the course of people’s lives.

The HIT aims to develop and use what has been learned from research into adversity and trauma to inform service design and practice, which will then improve outcomes for people across their lives and reduce health inequalities.
