Coffee mornings

Every six weeks, Bristol Bones and Joints HIT hosts online coffee mornings for anyone in the region living with bones and joints conditions. You can also invite your family and friends to the meetings. The coffee mornings are great fun, relaxed and informal – an hour meeting each other and chatting over a cup of coffee. Rheumatology Patient Advisory Group (PAG):

PAG is the patient support group at the BRI. It is run by patients, for patients with any condition affecting their bones and joints.

PAG has a Facebook group and meets in person at the Bristol Royal Infirmary every two months on a Wednesday morning.

Local support groups

NASS Bristol (National Axial Spondylarthritis Society) has been running from Southmead Hospital since 1998. Since March 2020, they moved to online stretch sessions.

They run physiotherapist-led online stretch sessions every Monday at 19.30, Wednesday at 18.30 and Thursday at 10.00. They also run other online sessions including Pilates, seated Zumba and relaxation. Please contact them for more information or check out their NASS Bristol October 2022 programme
