Get involved

Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement is an essential part of our activities. We are delighted to have Louise Thorne as patient co-director – Louise is on Southmead’s rheumatology patient representatives group as well as being an active member of its patients peer support group.

If you are interested in becoming more directly involved with research, individual projects or the direction of the HIT, please contact us.  You might be a patient, carer, parent or somebody with an interest in improving experiences for people with musculoskeletal conditions. No experience is necessary.
