This course introduces the theory and evidence base for cognitive and behavioural approaches to pain management. The biopsychosocial assessment of musculoskeletal pain is linked to individualised treatment planning and there is emphasis on practical skills development.
This course is suitable for physiotherapists aiming to enhance their knowledge and develop skills in psychologically informed physiotherapy practice.
It is relevant for physiotherapists working in outpatient departments, pain services and private practice.
Includes tea/coffee and buffet lunch on both days. Closing date for applications is Friday 2 March 2018
