Training to support self-harm awareness including signs and indicators, alternative coping strategies, and responding to self-harm.

Join peers to develop your understanding and awareness of self-harm, taking into account the professional or pastoral staff perspective and the emotions that can arise.

Training aimed at practitioners and people working with children and young people, uncluding those working within voluntary sector organisations.

Session will be delivered online via Zoom by an experienced trainer. Topics covered will include:

  • Signs and indicators an individual may be self-harming
  • What can lead to self-harm
  • Responding to self-harm
  • Alternative coping strategies
  • Phrases/language to be aware of

You will be emailed the Zoom meeting link prior to the session. A feedback evaluation will be shared following the training.
