Anyone can become a carer at any time, often with no choice and no prior experience. For some, it can profoundly change your life and affect your family and your relationships. Now, more than ever, you may feel isolated as you try to look for the help and support that you need to provide care in the way that you want to.

This online event, hosted by University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust together with the Carers Support Centre, will explore the challenges faced by carers during the pandemic and the support available within our hospitals.

We will hear stories from different carers who will talk about their individual experiences and the impact of Covid-19 on being a carer and on accessing support. There will also be an opportunity to give your views. What matters to you as a carer when you come to our hospitals? How has the pandemic changed the support that you need? How can we do better to support you?

If you would like to join this online event please reserve your place here or email [email protected] or call us on 0117 34 23764 and we will send you the weblink and joining instructions.
