Bristol Health Partners’ Active Lives HIT in partnership with Active Ageing and Bristol Dance Futures invites you to register for Day 2 of our online Dance for Wellbeing Conference, 10am-4pm on Tuesday, 16 November 2021.

How can dance help to support people’s health – at all points of their care pathway? And how does this fit with health and care system priorities?

We have been blown away by the response to our proposals around prevention through physical activity in health and care pathways. This event will look at how a preventative approach can be implemented through dance.

Day 2 is aimed at health and care practitioners, navigators and commissioners, and dance practitioners/producers. We will be hearing evidence about what works, and how dance and creative physical activity can be put into practice to support people’s care.

Chair: Kiki Gale, MBE, performer, choreographer, community dance artist and founding artistic director and chief executive of East London Dance; honorary life member, People Dancing.

  • Adwoa Webber, Head of Clinical Effectiveness, Bristol, North Somerset and South Glos ICS;
