The Adverse Childhood Experiences Health Integration Team (HIT) has changed its name to the Adversity and Trauma HIT to better reflect the remit of its work, considering the impacts of adversity and trauma across the course of people’s lives.
The Adversity and Trauma HIT aims to develop and use what has been learned from research into adversity and trauma to inform service design and practice, which will then improve outcomes for people across their lives and reduce health inequalities.
