Bristol Health Partners' Impact Review for 2025/26

  • 15th July 2026

Every year we celebrate our achievements in our Impact Review, which showcases research and other activities that address inequalities and improve health and care outcomes.

This year, we launched our Impact Review for 2025/26 with a special message from new Chair, Professor Tim Whittlestone. Tim is Chief Medical and Innovation Officer at Bristol NHS Foundation Trust.

Shortly after becoming Chair this year, I was asked what makes Bristol Health Partners special. My answer was simple: we are a listening organisation.

Through our Health Integration Teams, we bring together people from across health, care, research and communities to listen, learn and act. We listen to patients and the public to understand what matters most to them. We listen to those delivering health and care services to better understand the challenges they face. And we listen to researchers working to translate new discoveries into real improvements in people’s health and wellbeing.

Much of our impact this year has come from this ability to connect and collaborate. By understanding different perspectives and bringing people together, we are helping to create healthier futures for the people and communities we serve.

I hope you enjoy reading about the difference we have made together in this year’s Review.
