These dementia and Alzheimer’s cafés in north and south Bristol provide a relaxed and safe space in which issues surrounding dementia can be aired in a friendly and informal environment. Both cafés are staffed by trained and experienced volunteers who care about people living with dementia.

Each session includes refreshments such as tea, coffee, sandwiches and delicious home-made cakes.

Every month they have speakers about a subject which is linked to the area of dementia, or an activity. There will also be opportunities for you to ask your own questions and pick up useful resources.

The cafés also provide a pleasant social event for everyone to enjoy. At every meeting refreshments are served and at most meetings live music is played.

There is no charge to attend and refreshments are free.
