Annual review

The Bristol Health Partners annual review showcases the work of the partnership. It includes updates from our Health Integration Teams and a round-up of the health research activity across Bristol and the partner organisations.


Bristol Health Partners annual review 2020-21

In the 2020-21 annual review:

  • Bristol Health Partners Chair Robert Woolley's foreword looks at our first year as an Academic Health Science Centre (AHSC), which began only a few weeks after the country was gripped by COVID-19. He describes how the last year has underlined the urgent need for co-ordinated and creative action in the local Integrated Care System, and the important role the AHSC is playing.
  • Our Director Professor David Wynick's reflections take in a challenging year, where our Health Integration Teams stepped up to tackle the impacts of the pandemic. Amongst the turbulence of 2020-21, he picks out several highlights, including the critical role our Health Integration Teams (HITs) have played in supporting initiatives to address health inequalities, and their continued efforts to shape the redesign of care pathways.
  • Our partnership's highlights for the year, from doubling our patient and public contributor HIT membership, to attracting significant funding to the city region for research and services.

    Bristol Health Partners annual review 2019-20

    The 2019-20 annual review includes:

    • Bristol Health Partners Chair Andrea Young's foreword for the annual review recognises how the strength of our unique partnership has resulted in the prestigious designation of Academic Health Science Centre. She also describes how our collaborations have helped tackle local and national health and care challenges, along with some key Health Integration Team (HIT) highlights.
    • Our Chief Operating Officer Lisa King looks back on an eventful past year at Bristol Health Partners. Highlights include key achievements from our Health Integration Teams (HITs), growing the core team and expanding our using data better programme.
    • Our partnership's highlights for the year, from attracting significant research funding to the city region to providing patients and the public the opportunity to have a say in the design of health and care services.

Annual review

The Bristol Health Partners annual review showcases the work of the partnership. It includes updates from our Health Integration Teams and a round-up of the health research activity across Bristol and the partner organisations.


Bristol Health Partners annual review 2020-21

In the 2020-21 annual review:
