It is estimated that more than one and a half million women in the UK are living with the painful condition of endometriosis, and yet it is quite common for it to take up to ten years to be diagnosed and then treated.
Southmead Development Trust and Bristol Health Partners invite you to watch the documentary film Below the Belt – about the impact of endometriosis. This event is for anyone interested in endometriosis, including those with lived experience, clinicians, and family members.
We hope the film will spark conversations and ideas. Afterwards there will be a discussion with an informal panel made up of those living with endometriosis, consultants in women’s health, and researchers.
Southmead Development Trust is a community anchor organisation in North Bristol. Our role is to bring different types of people together to have conversations about topics that are important to them.
We hope you can join us. There will be refreshments provided.
