Dementia conference

A free cross-sectoral dementia conference for professionals, healthcare practitioners, dementia charity managers and support services is being held in Bristol on 10 September. This event celebrates and shares the work being done in the South West.

The day brings together people working in the NHS, social care, integrated care teams, general practice, stroke rehabilitation, community nursing, palliative care, commissioning, mental health and memory services, care homes and day care services.

The agenda includes:

  • Nadra Ahmed OBE, Chair of the National Care Association
  • Mark Poarch, Chief Executive, BRACE
  • Jaqui Ramus, Dementia Lead, St Monica’s Trust, St Peter’s Hospice Bristol

Lunch and refreshments will be provided and there will be a small exhibition showcasing dementia support available locally.
