Free community health drop-in: Weston-super-Mare

Following Community Conversations led by our Health Ambassadors in early 2025  local communities identified their top health priorities, to help guide research.

As many of the priorities identified revolve around primary care / GP services, in partnership with the Centre for Academic Care (CAPC) at the University of Bristol, the Health Ambassadors will be hosting three community health events – one each in South Gloucestershire, Bristol, and North Somerset.  

What to expect:

• Free basic health checks (Including blood pressure, liver scan and advice).
• Talking with researchers working on the topics that you said matter most.
• Find out what the health ambassadors learnt from community members.
