A recent study has identified that people from ethnic minority backgrounds are likely to have a higher levels of antibiotic resistant gut microbiota compared to white ethnicities.

During this coffee catch-up, Anna Pathmanathan will talk about her study exploring differences between ethnicities in antibiotic prescribing and respiratory related health outcomes.

Anna  is a first year PhD researcher at the University of Bristol. She is passionate about reducing health inequalities in or society, and how to improve healthcare for all.
