Researcher coffee catch-up: NIHR Healthy Homes research bid

Join People in Health West of England (PHWE) for this coffee catch-up, where you can ask researchers questions, researchers, give feedback and engage with research projects happening in your local area.

During this coffee catch-up Dr Sharea Ijaz and Dr Anna Le Gouais from SHINE HIT will talk about a study aimed at:

• understanding the health and health inequalities impacts of schemes for improvement in housing quality
• understanding what type of people do, and do not, access support programmes, and their subsequent health consequences

They will be looking for some feedback on their research ideas to help plan the project.

Dr Ijaz and Dr Le Gouais are part of a team of researchers at the University of Bristol, they are public health practitioners (Bristol and Wiltshire Local authorities) and voluntary sector organisation (CSE) staff who are jointly applying for funding to do research on interventions aimed at improving quality of housing in Bristol and surrounding areas.
