Patient and public involvement

Bristol Bones and Joints HIT – Patient and Public Involvement

We are from Bristol Bones and Joints (BBJ) and we are a mix of health care staff, people with musculoskeletal conditions and researchers. We focus on what matters to people living with conditions that affect their bones and joints.

We are inviting people from the Bristol, Bath and Weston area to join us for our Zoom* coffee mornings.

We decided to have Zoom coffee mornings because we cannot meet in person. Back in March 2020 we did not know that our lives would be disrupted for this long. We do not know when we or our support groups can meet in person again, but we know that it helps to see and speak to people with a shared experience.

The coffee mornings are great fun, relaxed and an informal hour meeting each other and chatting over coffee. Anyone is welcome to join so do come along or share this with a friend and bring them too!

The last few months have taught us that sometimes it takes a while toget to grips with technology and it can be daunting. *If you are new to Zoom, Age UK has a guide that you can download:

If you want to ask us anything, our email address is

Please join us if you can.

Best wishes, from Emma, Beth and Jen, from BBJ
