Dementia HIT co-director publishes two new books

Two new books by Dementia HIT co-director Dr Gary Christopher have been published by Routledge.

Dementia: Current Perspectives on Research and Treatment covers the latest developments in understanding and treating dementia, including how COVID-19 impacted dementia care.

Depression: Current Perspectives on Research and Treatment explores the history and science behind depression and offers a holistic approach to better appreciate and treat the condition.

As well as co-leading the Dementia HIT, Gary a gerontologist working in the Centre for Innovative Ageing at Swansea University. His research focuses on cognition and emotion regulation in later life. He sits on the national executive committee of the British Society of Gerontology and is also a Director of the charity BRACE Dementia Research.
