ED HIT offers free wellbeing art packs to help people affected by eating disorders and eating problems

  • 21st January 2022

Bristol Health Partners’ Eating Disorders Health Integration Team (ED HIT) has produced a free winter wellbeing art activity pack for people affected by eating disorders and eating problems.

The pack includes the HIT’s Eating Disorder Support and Resources guide (PDF), as well as all the kit needed to create a wooden coaster or hanging decoration.

You can order your pack by emailing your name and postal address to [email protected].

Packs are available until 28 February 2022 or until stocks run out.

Carolyn Trippick, ED HIT workstream lead for patient and public involvement, says:

“Being creative is proven to have a range of positive benefits for health and wellbeing. We made our art activity packs to encourage a little self-care, to help those affected by eating disorders and eating problems to take some time out, relax and enjoy the moment. You don’t have to think of yourself as an artist, as the packs come with instructions, you just have to be willing to give it a go. You can create a winter design, inspiring quote or word design, or anything else…. it really is entirely up to you. The most important aspect is just enjoying the creative process and having fun.”
