UH Bristol energy team wins at HSJ Awards 2015

The energy team at University Hospitals Bristol scooped the award for Improving Environmental and Social Sustainability at the 2015 HSJ Awards on 18 November.

This award recognises organisations and systems that have changed ways of working to improve sustainability while enhancing patient care. It is about organisations and systems that have improved environmental, economic and social sustainability.

Health is very much influenced by the environment, and so University Hospitals Bristol is working to reduce its impact on the environment, in particular its carbon footprint, and in turn reduce its contribution to climate change.
